Service Descriptions

What does my service include?

Below is a comprehensive list of service descriptions

Pool Opening

The pool opening is a spring start up to get your pool running and swim ready for the season. Our crew will do a light cleaning on the pool cover, remove the pool cover, fold it and put it away if a designated space is provided and accessible. Please note the customer is responsible for storing their pool cover. The pool anchors will be put down. The equipment will be started up, and note will be taken if anything needs to be repaired or replaced. D.E. filters are charged with D.E. unless a different filter media is provided by the customer. The pool will be skimmed and vacuumed. If vacuuming is not possible due to the amount and type of debris the crew will scoop the entire pool and attempt to vacuum once more. The pool will then be shocked and scrubbed. A service report will be emailed at the time of completion, this will include after care instructions if applicable.

Pool Closing

The pool closing is and end of season service to prepare your pool and equipment for the winter months. Please note it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the water level is lowered prior to the scheduled appointment. If the water level is not lowered, the crew will begin to lower the water and a $40.00 fee will apply. The crew will blow out the plumbing and administer anti-freeze to the plumbing. The returns will be plugged and drains will be air locked. Closing chemicals are administered. Anchors will be placed up and the cover will be attached. If a customer has a mesh cover with a cover pump, the cover pump will be put in under the cover. If a customer has a solid cover the cover pump will be placed on the lowest spot on the cover. For solid cover pools it may be necessary for the customer to reposition the cover pump and clear any debris to ensure it is still functioning throughout the winter.

Valet

The valet is a weekly maintenance service to help keep your pool clean and your chemistry balanced. Please note that a valet service does not remove maintenance responsibilities from the customer. Every pool is different and some customers still need to clean their pool or balance the chemistry in between scheduled valet appointments. At the valet a crew member will test your pool chemistry and administer the necessary chemicals to balance it. The customer may choose to provide their own chemicals, or be charged in addition to the valet cost for each chemical we administer from our inventory. The skimmer baskets will be emptied and the pump baskets and cleaner will be emptied if applicable. The crew member will skim the pool, scoop large debris, and scrub algae if necessary. If the pool is in a condition that requires more than 30 minutes time to clean there is an additional charge for extra time spent in 15 minute increments. In addition we do offer an optional vacuum service for an additional $25.00. An additional 15 minutes of time is also included in that cost.

It is important to note that we do require an opening and closing commitment from our customers. In addition we do require a season long commitment from our valet customers.
