Pool Opening Instructions

The following is a list of requirements we need from our customers in order to have a smooth running opening season. We ask that you review this document and make sure you are able to take care of everything required.

Requirements include:

  1. Make sure your water level is raised.

  • The water level should be 3 inches above the mouth of the skimmer(this is usually the middle of the tile line)

  1. Make sure our crews have complete access to the necessary equipment and any materials needed for the pool opening.

  • Any gates need to be unlocked, or a gate code given if applicable.

  1. If you want our crew to put your cover away for you, make sure that designated space is cleared out and easily accessible.

It is strongly recommended that the above listed requirements are completed the day PRIOR to your scheduled appointment. It is important to note that the time estimates we give for your appointments are estimates. Due to the nature of the job the appointment times could be hours earlier, or hours later than our estimate. If our crew arrives and is unable to perform the opening as a result of requirements not being met, it could result in rescheduling the opening to the next available time, in addition to a $75.00 charge for time and fuel. If the water level is not properly raised, but the crew is still able to open the pool using the bottom drain, the customer is expected to raise the water level and open the skimmer valves themselves. Otherwise an additional $100.00 applies for the crew to return to open the skimmer valves when they are in the area.
