Pool Closing Instructions

The following is a list of requirements we need from our customers in order to have a smooth running closing season. We ask that you review this document and make sure you are able to take care of everything required.

Requirements include:

  1. Make sure your water level is lowered. A $40.00 charge will be implemented if this is not complete.

  • Solid cover pools should be 2-3 inches below the mouth of the skimmer

  • Mesh cover pools WITH a cover pump should be 6 inches below the mouth of the skimmer

  • Mesh cover pools WITHOUT a cover pump should be 14 inches below the mouth of the skimmer

  1. Make sure your pool chemistry is balanced. Valet customers do not need to worry about this as our crews will take care of this at your last valet.

  2. Make sure our crews have complete access to the necessary equipment and any materials needed for the pool closing

  • Materials include: pool cover, plugs, and cover pump if applicable

  • Any gates need to be unlocked, or a gate code given if applicable


It is strongly recommended that the above listed requirements are completed the day PRIOR to your scheduled appointment. It is important to note that the time estimates we give for your appointments are estimates. Due to the nature of the job the appointment times could be hours earlier, or hours later than our estimate. If our crew arrives and is unable to perform the closing as a result of requirements not being met, it could result in rescheduling the closing to the next available time, in addition to a $75.00 charge for time and fuel.
